Wheel of life

Spin

Life is spinning faster than we could ever imagine. Yesterday we’re searching for our purpose and direction in a vast ocean of possibilities. Today, we’re here holding on to something real that could make us happy and complete as artists. Who knows, maybe tomorrow we could be there in a special place that we’ve been dreaming---make it or break it. It’s a gamble that we have take, to risk and face with everything we’ve got.

Life is too short to be sober and feel hopeless. There’s so much we can do than deal with what other people might say. Life is simple---you make a choice and you don’t look (striking line from the film “2 Fast 2 Furious: Tokyo Drift”. I think everything that transpired for the past year seemed too fast. We may somehow make an impact to other Ilonggos who knew about us but we can’t simply impress everyone knowing all the limitations or imperfections we have. Each of us is misunderstood and unfathomed individual. We have our own doubts and fears in dealing with life. We may be good enough with what we do best when it comes to self expression of our artistry but that’s not enough to have everything.

We’ve been through a lot of hardship, betrayal and confusion. Sometimes, we were even divided not only with our artistic opinions but a lot of things and issues around us. Life is impossible without flaws and mistakes. We need to commit some of them to bring out the best in each of us. We need it to fuel our soul and to challenge our imaginations that has been cloaking inside us for a long time. We need to show the world what we’ve got to determine how long we can run, how much we can carry or how high we can fly. We need a bit of everything else to understand our existence and reason of our friendship.

This is who we are—not only as a group but as dreamers who knew we were special since the day we realize that we can pick up the pencil and scribble something magnificent out of ordinary doodling.

This is who we really are--- Bryan the explorer of possibilities, Aladin the fisherman, Brynh the rocker, Amado the color specter, Carmz the misunderstood, Janelyn the fairy-believer, Renan the seeker, Lloyd the secret warrior, Jhobin the unknown hero, Roselyn the charmer, Elson the zen, Dado the talker, Lyndon the nomad, Neneth the tweet, Je Ann the silent one, Racil the sweet girl, Kyle the claymaster, Marx the darkness, Dyvrum the silly and I’m the Hex who’s not afraid what I wish for (but sometimes I might be).

So spin the wheel of fate. Sometimes we’re up, sometimes we’re down. And We’re not seriously internalizing the toxic comments of the outside world. We can move mountains and stars with our imaginations and dream… if we try to believe we can—that all we need for now.

I know you read us (every post, every title, every caption, every story, every word, every braggadocio we spill, it means business for you because you thought you’re the only one who existed with a better artistic fate)… because you sometimes leave your comments straight from your gut and we can sleep well with that thought. Laugh, it’s the best medicine to cure the disease called life, hehe!

Lights off!
