Kuris game trip 101

I got my eyes on you Marx…so play the game fair with Bryan, Okay!

Lala!

Get your mutie senses raging again with this old but still hot game!

The X-men RPG game makes us wanna scream "lala"... in the back of our heads, in our daydreams, in the face of sweet misery and in our wild thoughts. Though it's already an old PC game (probably 2005), "X-men Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse" is still rocking hot RPG game to play. It gives you access to bring in five mutants both heroes and villain with their own powers and fighting skills that expands every time you beat the enemy's ass. Plus you can personalized your style by changing costumes and change your team which depends on your fighting mood. As for me, I like to bring all the girls-- Storm, Rogue, Scarlet Witch and yes, Jean Grey. Marx like to bring Wolvie, Juggernaut, Iceman and Sabertooth. Bryan prefers Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Colossus and Magneto. Jay likes Bishop, Pyro, Toad and Wolvie. Blink, a powerful teleporter teenage mutant is also present but you have to rescue her first before she can help you teleport to another island.

The setting is Genosha, a fictional island-nation of mutants below South Africa that only exists in the Marvel Universe. Magneto rules the nation until Apocalyse attack and torn apart the Brotherhood of Mutant's forces to pieces. Defeated and shattered, Magnus sought the help of Professor Xavier and his uncanny X-men to bring Apocalypse down to its knees. But our heroes have to go through a lot of tough challenge, surprise battles, confusing trails and smashing not only bad mutant ass but some freaky alien creatures in the island. Of course, the X-men and Magneto's Brotherhood have a santuary wherein they can take a break from the fierce battle, gather data and guide how to play the game very well. The Beast, Professor X and Angel are staying in the Sanctuary to guide the players find their way out, solve some mysteries and find the key that they need to locate.

The best thing about the game is-- it's very stylized, easy to follow and play. Some characters can fly like Storm, Magneto, Jean Grey or even Rogue. Other are awesome too, like Iceman who creates ice bridges and kills off fire along the way with his iceblast. Truth is, we haven't finished the game yet since we are very busy for the meantime in the special project. We just try play whenever we are free or just having a good break from facing the computer all day. But it is a good game even comparable to Ragnarok or Battle Realms. Sir Karlo even borrowed the installer from us coz' he somehow find the game very interesting.

Well, we hope to find Apocalypse in the final battle and kill the bad ass for good, hehe. So that we're not going to worry that an unfinished game still hangs in the balance every time we take our afternoon break. We plan to change our habit after we finish the game soon...it's gonna be MUGEN--the newest infinite version of Marvel vs. Capcom. But this time around, marvel and Capcom isn't gonna be the two universes to clash...we mean everything else---Dragonball, Super Mario, Simpsons, Nicktoons, Looney Toons, Fatal Fury, Final Fantasy, Tekken, Mortal Combat...I'm tired of saying everything here.

"Lala"...we're starting to play the X-men again coz' it's break time. Don't disturb us please...we're already in the third to the last stage. Hate it when the odds gets tough, hehe.

Enough blogging for now...Kuris out!
